J. P. Goforth, builder of hundreds of Chapel Hill Modernist and contemporary houses and one of its most successful developers.
Dick Bell:  noted landscape architect with a legacy of beloved projects such as Pullen Park, the NC State University Brickyard, and the Meredith College Amphitheatre.
Frank Walser: the gifted contractor who built many of the Triangle's Modernist houses from the 1950's-1970's.
Matthew Nowicki: The genius behind Raleigh's internationally-known Dorton Arena.  Nowicki's life was cut short in a plane crash over Egypt in 1950.
Richard Kaydos-Daniels - the structural engineer behind many Modernist houses in the Triangle.
Richard Hall - the unusual conversion of a former Raleigh Seventh Day Adventist Church to a private residence.
Bryan Bell: passionate national advocate for architecture for the "98% without architects."
